The AC problems we get called about every week

Most of these have a cheap fix and an expensive fix. Which one you are looking at depends on what is actually failing — that is what the diagnostic is for.

Family on a couch fanning themselves on a hot day because the AC is not cooling
  • Running, but blowing warm air Usually low refrigerant, a dirty coil or a failing compressor. The difference between them is a big difference in price.
  • Will not turn on at all Often a capacitor, a contactor, a tripped breaker or a thermostat that failed. Frequently the cheapest repair on this list.
  • Water leaking or dripping A clogged condensate drain line — extremely common in Central Florida humidity, and the fastest way to get water damage in a ceiling.
  • Electric bill climbing every month The system is working harder for the same result. Sometimes a tune-up fixes it, sometimes it is telling you the unit is at the end.
  • Loud, rattling or grinding noises Fan motor, blower wheel or loose components. Worth catching before the part that is rattling takes something else with it.
  • Turning on and off constantly Short cycling. Wrong-sized system, dirty filter or a refrigerant problem — and it shortens the life of the whole unit.
AC services

Repair, replacement and everything in between

Every visit starts with testing the system, not guessing from the symptom: pressures, electrical components, airflow and drainage. Then you get a written price for the fix.

AC Repair

Full diagnostic, then a written price for the fix. Capacitors, compressors, refrigerant leaks, drain lines, thermostats, electrical faults and airflow problems.

Installation & Replacement

Correctly sized for your square footage, not oversold. Removal and disposal of the old system and a new line set where needed.

Maintenance & Tune-Ups

Coil cleaning, drain line flush, refrigerant check, electrical inspection. The visit that keeps a July breakdown from happening in the first place.

Thermostats & Controls

A thermostat that reads wrong or loses power can make a working system look broken. We test it first, and replace or upgrade it only when it is the real problem.

Indoor Air Quality

Filtration, humidity control and airflow. In Central Florida, keeping the humidity down is half of feeling comfortable at home.

Drain Lines & Water Leaks

A clogged condensate drain is one of the most common AC calls in Central Florida humidity. We clear the line and fix the cause before the water reaches your ceiling.

The honest question

Repair it, or replace it?

Plenty of companies will happily sell you a new system either way. Here is the reasoning we actually use on site, so you can check our recommendation against it.

Repair usually makes sense when

  • The unit is under 10 years old
  • The repair costs well under a third of a replacement
  • It is the first significant failure the system has had
  • The refrigerant type is still current and available
  • The rest of the system, including the ductwork, is in good shape

Replacement usually makes sense when

  • The unit is past 12 to 15 years, which is a typical Florida lifespan
  • The compressor has failed and it is out of warranty
  • You have paid for two or more repairs in the last two years
  • It runs on R-22, which is no longer produced and expensive to recharge
  • Your electric bill keeps rising with no change in how you use it

We will give you both numbers — what the repair costs and what a replacement costs — and let you decide with the full picture in front of you.

Pricing

A clear price before any work starts

AC repairs go wrong on the invoice, not only on the unit: a quick fix that turns into a list of extras nobody mentioned. We work the other way around. We find what failed, put the price in writing, and only start once you have said yes.

If the unit is old enough that a replacement makes more sense, you get that number too, so you can compare both with the full picture.

What is always included

  • Free estimate on replacements and installations
  • Written price approved by you before any work starts
  • No parts or labor added without telling you first
  • Old equipment removed and disposed of on new installs
  • System tested and drain checked before we leave
How it works

From your call to cold air

  1. Call or message us

Tell us what the unit is doing. A short video of the noise or a photo of the thermostat helps more than you would think.

  2. On-site diagnosis

A technician tests the system and identifies what actually failed — not a guess based on the symptom.

  3. You get the number

Written price for the repair, and if replacement is the better call, that number too. You decide, not us.

  4. Fixed and tested

We run the system, confirm the temperature drop and check the drain before we leave.

AC FAQ

What people ask before booking

How long does an AC unit last in Central Florida?

Less than the national average. Between the heat, the humidity and the fact that systems here run most of the year, 12 to 15 years is a realistic lifespan — and closer to 10 without regular maintenance. If your unit is in that range and just failed, replacement is worth pricing out alongside the repair.

What are your hours?

Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Call us at (689) 306-1344.

What if my AC fails outside business hours?

Call and leave a message, send us a WhatsApp or fill in the form at the top of this page. We will get back to you the next business day, Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am.

What can I do while I wait for the technician?

Check that the thermostat is set to cool and a few degrees below room temperature, replace the air filter if it is dirty, and look for a tripped breaker. If you see water around the indoor unit, turn the system off to avoid damage. A photo of the thermostat and the unit sent by WhatsApp helps us arrive with the right parts.

Do you work with my brand of AC?

We service all makes and models of residential central air systems.
